Keeping Up With Cailee

Life is absolutely crazy right now! In just a few short days I am graduating from college...this day came so quickly and with it so much stress, worry and unknown. I never really sat down long enough to think about what these last few weeks would be like. I couldn't have imagined it. To say its bittersweet is an understatment. One day I am completely ready to move on and the next I am in tears, dragging my feet not wanting to go. It is here though and I am being called to do one thing: be still. 


Africa...it is seriously around the corner! It is so incredible to think about this next adventure, but it is so intimidating. I really think I have been in denial the last few weeks that it is so close and I have somewhat put off my responsibilities, but ultimately I know one thing. God's love covers all! He doesn't just cover us when its easy or when we are doing things right, but he longs even more to cover us when we aren't. When we allow fear to take over, when doubts fill our minds and when we look to other things to make us feel better. Ultimately, he LONGS for us to find security in Him and simply rest in His presence and strength. What an amazing, breath-taking, tear jerking truth. In our weakness, He is strong and I want NOTHING more than a testimony where He turned my fear, my doubt, my insecurities into strength, and into joy! So here we go! I am ready! I am so ready to see how God turns a group of strangers into a group of world changers! I cannot wait to see how He uses people from other nations and cultures to TRANSFORM. Although I haven't officially met my fellow teammates, I can already tell that they are devoted to serving God and serving the world, in serious ways. That, my friends, IS contagious!! 


So I am leaving fear, doubt and insecurity behind me and I am taking on a spirit of power, love, joy and strength. Once again, though, I cannot do this on my own! In order to make this trip a reality I need you! I need your prayers and financial support. I still have quite a bit of money to raise for this trip and as overwhelming as the number is, I KNOW God provides. I know that He wants to use everyone in His work, and it doesn't always look the same. I have the absolutely incredible opportunity to travel to a place of need, but everyone can help in so many different ways! Will you consider letting God use you to help these people too by supporting me?
