London: day 1

Behind. Doesn't even begin to describe what I am in the blogging world. I am behind by about four blogs...which can be somewhat overwhelming, but I decided to catch up in chronological order. Thank you for being patient! :)

So London was a complete blast! It started Friday, when we got a train and then a subway (aka the underground tube) which throughout the weekend we got very well acquainted.

Then we headed for a short time to The British Library, which holds some very interesting old documents. Anything from composers music, to literature, to religious documents, but most importantly the Magna Carta. Very interesting!

On to the British Museum we went. I really can't begin to think of what they don't have in there. Anything you can think of, from any place you can remember. It is there. I got really excited and began to take pictures of everything! Like really no joke, I took hundreds of pictures inside. So I chose a few of my favorites to post.

That night we got the chance to go see Wicked, and oh my goodness! We were all going crazy with excitement! The show was amazing! I loved it and of course the songs were stuck in our head for the next week. Let's be honest...they still are!

I was very thankful for our trip to London, because I really do think it was here that I truly felt excitement about being abroad. Although, I have loved everything to this point, during the show I think it hit me. I am in England. How awesome!
Anyway, sorry this post is boring and short, (I should have done it a long time ago) but now I am feeling quite rushed! Later today I will post the second day, and then post about York and Whitby soon, and our weekly duck feedings in University Parks!
Stay tuned!
