WOW! God is good.
i don't have much to say, but i guess it is time for an update as one of my professors informed me today.
so, i have been a little nervous. okay. a lot nervous. about starting classes here in oxford. i tend to care too much about my grades, and the thought of making b's makes me a little on edge. so with that personal pressure, trying to adjust to a new culture, and traveling around europe all in the same four months, made for one anxious young lady.
YET! God is good.
he has completely provided for me. i love my classes. so much so, i have nothing to say in any of them. confused? so was i. i am not usually the kind to be speechless, and boggled brained (well that does happen more often than one would like) but while sitting in my classes, whether it be management, c.s lewis, great britian, oxford through the ages, it doesn't matter. the material is so interesting to me all i can do is soak. i find myself without words, because i just want to listen to my teachers and classmates. i want to go into more detail. and i will in time. but for now silence. (for the most part) i am still forming opinions and trying to get all the information in a line. God has blessed me with the desire to learn, and i am amazed at the material i am getting the opportunity to learn.
God is good.
update on my emotional state: i am doing much better. i am adjusting and enjoying. even the amazement of this journey is beginning to hit me, and i am honestly, in awe.
keep praying, it is working!

I loved this post about soaking it all in. What amazing experiences, classes, and teachers to be learning from. And, like you, I love learning new things (especially while in a cute town in England), and totally relate to the feeling of just wanting to soak up every bit. Can you PLEASE take good notes in CS Lewis class? I want a copy of it all!
