Alrighty! Fast, I need to go read! BUT I just wanted to update because I hate leaving things on a "not so happy" note.
Church this morning was great! We woke up to a shining sun, which apparently needs to be soaked in because it doesn't happen often. Then made our way to church. I was very much expecting something very traditional, conservative, and honestly boring. Boy was I wrong. The worship was great and the church was beautiful! I loved listening to everyone around me sing, knowing that for just an instance we sounded the same. No accents, and no difference. We were all just people worshipping one God. How encouraging! For days the focus has been on the difference. The different cultures, eating habits, style, language, talking, all sorts of differences. but for once, everyone sounded the same, and everyone was doing the same thing. Praising Yahweh and giving Him glory. It was much needed!
SO thank you for praying. I can feel it. But please don't stop. I will be praying for everything back in the States and for you as well.
much love,
cailee

Cailssss. I love you and I'm so happy we are able to be there for each other even when we are far away. :)
What a great thought! You're so right...we all focus on how different it is, but I love how you noticed that you all had similarities in your faith---the most important way of all!! Glad to hear it was a good day. I sure wish you had time to do DAILY blogs. No pressure. But, our house sure would love it. :)
We LOVE YOU!!!
What a beautiful person you are. Oxford is so lucky to have you. I want you to know that I am praying that God will open your eyes to your purpose for this semester. That He will lead you into deeper friendships with the people around you, and into a deepened relationship with your Heavenly father as well. I think this is just the beginning of a beautiful adventure that will enable you to better understand yourself, others and our Lord. There is no telling how God will use all you are learning for His glory!
love you. so thankful for you.
