Here is the town I am living in...just a tad bit of the look and feel of Oxford.
Jacob and Malia when we landed! So ready to be get off the plane, and getting ready for Sing Song?
Sydney and I on the way to DFW!
Sydney and our Flat Stanley, for Amy's (one of my roommates from ACU) little sister, Abbie, first grade class!
On to the story of the day:
WARNING: not too exciting...we did a lot of sitting, but just an update!
I am super glad to say we have finally made it to Oxford, a little later than expected, but we made it here around 1:30 our time...6 hours ahead of y'all. You do the math, my brain isn't working...at all! To back track, DFW was good, our flight was delayed three hours, but hanging out was fun and having time to eat some dinner. The 9 hour flight, was ... alright. The beginning was fun, because everything was new and exciting and we were FINALLY leaving. Yet, after probably 2 hours, I was ready to be done. Thankfully, I got a couple hours of sleep, unlike some of my less fortunate peers who didn't sleep at all! Got to the airport in London, had a few problems getting through, but nothing major! We made it through, easier than I thought, so I was pleased. On to an hour bus ride to Oxford, and when we finally made it here it was so beautiful! Snow is everywhere and everything is so historic! We got to the houses, brought up our luggage and ate some lunch, before a small walking tour of the town. After they walked us for a little bit we were able to break off, and do some grocery shopping and such for our house. The houses are really cool! Each floor has its own bathroom and kitchen!
Overall, today was LOOONG! But great at the same time. I have laughed a lot, cried some, and been silent at others. I was very overwhelmed at this point, not knowing how to feel, what to think, or how to react. On one end, my heart aches... I miss my friends and family more than words can say. I know it is just the beginning, but I long at times to see you guys, and hug everyone again. BUT I can't let myself dwell on that and look at what is in front of me. I am here with AMAZING people, who I can really have a blast with! I have awesome professors, and this is truly a once in a lifetime experience, I will NEVER get back, so my prayer is that I take advantage of it!
I love you all so so so so so so so much! Please be in prayer for me and I will be praying for you!

It's very weird to know what you're talking about when you talk about Oxford and the houses. I'm so happy that I can picture where you are...it makes me feel closer to you:) Cheesy? I don't care.
PS. I'm going to get started on designing your blog. What do you want it to look like? Email me!
Great to hear that you are there and enjoying yourself! Look forward to seeing more pictures and hearing about your experiences. Something that will make a lasting impression on your life, no doubt. Love you so much and miss you already!
