So, it is time. I think I am ready to pick this back up, unfortunately there will be no stories about my travels around England, France, Switzerland, Germany, Spain or any other country I have visited in the last year, instead west Texas will have to do.
Speaking of my travels, it has officially been over a year since I took the plane ride of a life time. Yesterday the buses took off for DFW airport, 30 students are now living in my house, in my city, the lovely Oxford. There is such a bitter sweet feeling in my heart. On one hand I am thrilled to be here to be with my friends, with Travis and family, and to participate in SING SONG! On the other, I ache for the old streets of Oxford, and for the excitement that touring new places brings. There is rarely an hour that goes by without my thoughts drifting off to dreaming about Europe and my memories.
There is a time for everything right? I am extremely blessed to have had that experience and I do treasure it, and now it is time to find the blessings here. There are plenty, but sometimes you have to search deeper to find them. Which is never a bad thing. :)
So here is what to be looking for: Blogs on, decorating a college house, inspiring class material, personal dreams and plans, and most importantly SING SONG! The pink is for Siggie Piggies of course! I am an Alto 2, aka the men. We are the bipolar, depressed little piggies. Only because at some point we are singing soprano notes, then we go down an octave to our man voices, and most of the time we are only singing doo's, ooo's, and pum's. I apparently take this very seriously because I want to be perfect at it already, (after 2 practices) but hey, I have been dreaming of this since I was 5, I am passionate. Don't judge. I am having a blast though, and we got a sneak peak of our costumes last night. They are going down in history, for the best costumes ever to grace the stage. Terrific! I am very ready for February 18-19! LET'S GO!

Can't wait to see the little Siggie Piggies in action!
And HOORAY for Alto 2's. We're always the best, you know? It wouldn't be Sing Song without the doos, dums, and pums! AND I think A2's have the hardest part to learn because you have to be precise but without real words. See? We're the best.
Anyway. Love you and I'll get started on your new design pronto :)
Can't wait to watch the show. I had to miss it last year but Mike got to see it. I am so excited!
